Puppetry: The art of improvisation
DOCUMENTARY // 2019
'Puppetry: The art of improvisation' is a short documentary following the process of a fascinating art form. This piece presented a great challenge for me, as it was the first short-form documentary that I was able to create for myself. I really enjoyed making this film, because the art that is made within it was absolutely beautiful to see coming together.
I produced this piece as my main portfolio item for my interview at Norwich University of the Arts, where I currently study a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Moving Image Production. I've received a lot of feedback on this film as a whole, and there are quite a few things I might now do differently, especially when working for a client. Please find this film below. |
The Truth Behind a Smile.
DOCUMENTARY // 2020
'The Truth Behind a Smile' tells the true story of some of the mental health events that are faced every day by members of the Ambulance Service.
I teamed up with The Ambulance Staff Charity and a frontline NHS worker to make this project possible. TASC are helping to distribute this project. Check out the fantastic work they do here! The Truth Behind a Smile is available on YouTube, this website and on TASC's website. |

Monty Python's 'Spamalot'
PRODUCTION PROGRAMME // 2018
|
When working on this production of 'Spamalot', effective communication with the creative directors of the show led to a concept piece that ticked all of their boxes. Through a few revisions, we were able to finalise the printed article, which sold extremely well on the door. I am very pleased to say that we sold out of copies from our initial printing run, and were forced to order an emergency run of an additional 300 copies. Almost all of which sold out by the end of the final performance.
I was responsible for the design and photography within this product as well as the advertisement and filming of the production. I am unable to show the filmed project on this platform due to licensing concerns. |
